If you are reading this, then that must mean the art & the craft & the idea of writing has tickled your heart and intrigued your mind.
You might be thinking, “I’ve always wanted to write, but never knew where to start,” or “I have an idea for a book,” or “I’d like to start a blog.” Or maybe you just like words and you want to be a person who makes words sound nice together—in journals, on loose pieces of papers, in emails, in letters.
Maybe you want to tell your story. Maybe you just want to try. Whoever you are and wherever you are coming from, I’m glad you are here. And I’m glad you want to write.
I created and lead up Ink & Parchment—we have weekly assignments here and occasional challenges. We share our writing and we also share what is going on in our lives. We are men and women from all over the country (and even outside the United States). We are believers of the Word and followers of Jesus. We are teachers, mothers, cashiers, students, fathers, counselors, business professionals, and self or unemployed. We are young and we are old. We are not perfect; we are in progress—we are learning. We are a community and we care. We write fiction & we write fact. We use real ink and paper when we write.
